Fall Garden Open Day 2024
Garden Open Day will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 10am - 2pm
Reservations are not required and there is no charge to attend. We request that you park next door at River Park Elementary School. For the safety and comfort of others, please leave your pets at home. The nursery will be open with an wonderful selection of special plants, all propagated from our gardens here at Montrose. Please keep in mind that we are unable to accept credit card payments. Plants, books, and seeds can be purchased by cash or check. We are excited to share the garden with you this October, our favorite time of year!
Spring Garden Open Day 2024
Due to a large scale work project in our main entryway, we are not able to host our annual spring open day. Guided tours are still available through the end of May, however self-guided visits are too difficult to manage at this time. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Please book a tour if you wish to see our spring garden, at which time you may shop from our nursery. We look forward to the next garden open day in early October!
Snowdrop Walk 2023
Unfortunately we will not host our annual Galanthus Walk this year. The snowdrops may be seen by booking a guided tour. We will be offering private tours this week while they are blooming. Tours will begin at 10:00 a.m. Monday - Friday and cost $20 per person. Snowdrops and other plants will be available for purchase from our nursery. Reservations for this event are not required, and admission is free. Please park next door at River Park Elementary School (formerly Cameron Park) at 240 St Marys Rd. We kindly ask that you leave your pets at home. Restroom available but limited. Our nursery will be open for plant sales, please keep in mind that we only accept cash or checks.

Garden Open Day will be held on Saturday, October 9 from 10 until 2. Please leave your pets at home, refrain from stepping garden beds, and remember that restroom facilities are limited. We accept cash and check if you wish to shop the nursery, and a mask is required upon entering the nursery area. Parking is next door at River Park Elementary (formerly Cameron Park).

We will not have Garden Open Day this spring, but hope to have one in the fall.

Our nursery will be open with plants propagated from this garden. If you wish to purchase plants, remember we only accept cash or checks. We expect that asters and other perennials will be in bloom as well as cyclamen and early flowering bulbs. We look forward to seeing you.
